The Google research team have spent a lot of time looking into what makes adsense work for some sites. They have come up with a nifty "Heat Map" which shows you where abouts the visitor looks on a page and hence gives you the most opportunity to boost your profits.

Try to utilise this information as much as possible because it gives you a great insight into your visitors. The "Heat Map" shows that the most prominent positions for your ads are above and below your main content, in the middle of your content, and on the left hand side where the secondary navigation will be.

The main challenge is to create a website that integrates Google Ads whilst remaining clean, uncluttered and pleasant to look at. If you achieve this you will definately be onto a winner with your Google Ads campaign.
